Movie Impression; Death Race

It’s FuGZ and i’ll be reviewing a movie i’ve watched recently; Death Race.

Starring one of my favourite actors from the Transporter, War (Rogue Assassin), Jason Statham, stars where racing is involved. Now don’t get it wrong, it’s not your typical sequels to The Fast & The Furious, but gives a serious feel like the first one.

But you do get Mr Tyrese Gibson from Too Fast Too Furious, ah, what a mix here.

So i hate to be spoiler but here’s a abit of the movie:

Racing.

Guns.

Jailed.

Jason Statham plays as three-time speedway champion Jensen Ames, an ex-con framed for a gruesome murder. Forced to don the mask of the mythical driver Frankenstein, a Death Race crowd favorite who seems impossible to kill, Ames is given an easy choice by Terminal Island’s ruthless Warden Hennessey (JOAN ALLEN of The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum): Suit up and drive or never see his little girl again.

His face hidden by a hideous mask, one convict will enter an insane three-day challenge in order to gain freedom. But to claim the prize, Ames must survive a gauntlet of the most vicious criminals—including nemesis Machine Gun Joe (TYRESE GIBSON of Transformers, 2 Fast 2 Furious)—in the country’s toughest prison. Trained by his coach (IAN MCSHANE of Deadwood, The Golden Compass) to drive a monster Mustang V8 Fastback outfitted with 2 mounted mini-guns, flamethrowers and napalm, an innocent man will destroy everything in his path to win the most twisted spectator sport on Earth.

So there, a very brief review of the movie. Now, my verdict?

As serious as the feel gets in this movie, it holds a serious feel similarly to the first The Fast and The Furious. Just that more lives are on the line, or should i say on the track.

OH MY GOD. ITS LIKE FUCKING WINTER HERE..

but no thanks to dearest natalie who i swear could have killed me.. i was saved by her friend who refused to let me come here by myself..so she came all the way to the airport to bring me here *using a more convenient and easier route CONTRARY to nats directions ‘=_=* shiny eyes. and she doesnt even know me!!! she even helped me carry my luggage bag around *big shiny eyes*

and when she asked natalie how i was going to the place im staying..and natalie said walk she scolded natalie *my hero* hahahha.. blardy hell.. damn far lor natalie ask me walk… its like asking me to walk from mid valley to 1u or something “=_= or possibly even furthur.. while lugging my luggage bags around.. pfft.. sor jor.. and i almost took the subway even!! lagi die ah.

BUT anyway enough ranting.. the weather right now is whacked and im sick @_@.. i expected to be greeted by hot summer sun but instead i was freated by friggin cold wind and rain @_@ LIKE FRIGGIN COLD OKAY… i dont think i have enough clothes also “=_=

wtf..i talk a lot right..

i feel like stealing umbrellas *o*….. so pretty *o*.. i think im gonna end up bringing quite a number home.. pfft… if anybody wants anything drop me an email or sms me la…

i just saw the bag im using to corea. ITS FRIGGIN HEAVY WITHOUT ANYTHING IN IT WEI!!! but its happy and colourful =D i likeeeee!

my parents gave me the air ticket before they left.. which is weird…why they give me air ticket now! cannot give me later meh? are they seriously considering not giving me a single cent to korea @_@.. *panic mode on*

have yet to print the subway mat nat sent me. YES!! IM GOING TO BE LEFT ALONE TO FIND MY WAY FROM THE AIRPORT TO HER DAMN UNI with the subway and no knowledge of the corean language… AT ALL…………….. i cant take the bus because even if i do i have to take the subway later on cuz the bus stops far from her uni =( OR SO SHE CLAIMS… and i cant take a cab because i cab will cost 200 bucks!!! which i think is probably half of the total amount of money im going to bring there (actually i dont know how much. i have like no money. what if my parents really dont give me money @_@… wah die wei)

will be bringing my cousins 3G phone with me AND PRAY that it works in corea T_________T i damn scared cannot lor!!! later i really get lost i die

in less than 12 hours i will be at the airport probabaly crying in the bfs arm cuz in the span of time we’ve been together.. we have not been apart for more than 4 days!! yah so clingy right. i know BUT DONT LET AH.

I HAVE HELL A LOT OF THINGS TO DO!! and its already 12!!! i havent even packed my bags and at 2.30 i need to be somewhere else for a job and at 4 i have LAN classes.. and i cant skip =( or the group project cannot be done and everyone will fail because of me!! =(.. dont even know can make it to lan class in time or not.

WAH SHIT SHIT SO LITTLE TIME LEFT! MUST STOP BLOGGING… if you dont see my blog updated in 2 days. i probabaly got lost or kidnapped in corea @_@.
