okay im a lazy are so im just going to steal the whole story from HERE. THE WHOLE POST BELOW IS COMPLETELY RIPPED OFF but thats not the point.
Holly Alonzo is a 21-year-old wife and mother who has a genetic condition called Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (NF2). When she was diagnosed, the doctors found a tumor wrapped around her brain stem. That tumor had to be removed, and it was unknown whether she would survive the risky surgery. She did, but she woke up completely blind.
NF2 is once again interfering with her life, and is now threatening her hearing. She has already lost the hearing in one ear due to the bilateral tumors on her hearing nerves. The tumor on her good ear is now growing and something has to be done soon.
Holly is now hoping to get an Auditory Brainstem Implant (ABI). The implant will provide her with some auditory stimulation so that will not have to risk being completely blind AND deaf. Unfortunately, the procedures to get the implant are only done at select hospitals, and these hospitals do not accept her insurance (Medicaid). The estimated cost of the surgery is USD 60,000.
Now, Yvonne and I are launching this “Help Holly — Only A Dollar” campaign to raise funds for Holly so that she could have the ABI — so that she doesn’t have to risk losing her sight AND her hearing. We are only asking for a dollar, yes, ONE US DOLLAR. Because we believe that if everybody who learns about this “Help Holly — Only A Dollar” campaign donates at least a dollar, Holly would be able to get her ABI done soon

so you love foie gras. ah. fancy french word with no idea what it is. anyway it's goose or duck liver and get real. even i the anti this that this that LOVE IT.i dont eat any intestinal area of any animal and i dont even eat lamb and here i am prancing about in my pretty ladybug painted nails (SeLF DONE.mwahahah) talking about my love for foie gras. ahh...the heavenly melt in our mouth texture the whole heaven in your mouth thing. and yet im going to stop eating it. along with pork just so you know. SO SAD RIGHT. I TELL U ITS ALL GORDON RAMSEY'S FAULT!! he breeds his own animals and then cooks them T_T WTF and there was this episode where he brought home a pair of pigs and the kids played and cuddled them as if they were dogs and omfg they were so cute i burst out crying T_T. i cried because i though omg. what if they were mine. how could i kill my own pet and eat it. omfg. it's like eating my own dog. there. that did it. so no more pork for me. maybe once in a while depending on the situation but not as often as i usually do. OMG WEI! im giving up my favourite char siew pau...gu lou yok(sweet and sour pork)...pork noodles( I SO SO SO love this).. pork ribs...ARGH A LOT LAR.
and im currently quite happy eating fish and veggies and fruits practically everyday @_@ except the fish is quite literally burning a hole in my pocket and i havent gone out of the house for 3 days because im cashless. @_@
ANNNNNNNNNNYYYWAAAY. the point of this post was about foie gras and WHY i am condeming it and refusing to eat it besides the fact that it cost a bomb. WELL. DO YOU ACTUALLY KNOW HOW FOIE GRAS IS MADE?
yeah obviously. who dunno. stupid meh? kill the goose then cut out it's liver and cook la! wtf. you thought wad. your cow and chicken ah. so easy to make ah. SO HERE my darling readers is the video of how most of the suppliers of foie gras actually make these succulent and heavenly delicacies(which i shall no longer eat. wtf) as it is easier to mass produce this way.

LIVER DISEASE! okay la. this one i dunno real or not la but seriously the poor things are really forced fed like that. babe was watching the f word by gordon ramsey and this reporter lady who is like hell scary and usually watches ppl slaughter the animal and yet still be able to eat it a few hours later (the animal she watched slaughtered) "=_= is actually against the whole foie gras production. it isnt like this everywhere though as there is a more humane way of doing it which is feeding the birds good food where they willingly come and eat it themselves but this is expensive and takes a hell longer time than the more conventional force feeding.
anyway as she was against it she wanted gordon ramsey to stop serving it and only serve the ones that are made humanely which he then said that if he could not taste the difference then he would. sadly he could as the texture is different. but for fucks sake. so what if it isnt as good. its 90% the same anyway. so the best way is to stop eating it all together =D hahaha. so say NO to foie gras!

you know what really pisses me off. just a little while ago i received an sms on freelance jobs. this particular job wanted girls who WERE AT LEAST 5'5 in height. which is like quite demanding in this line and in malaysia considering that most malaysian girls are of an average height of 5'3.so okay nevermind. AND THEN they had to put in brackets "WHO CAN ROLLERBLADE" wah this one u read very demanding already because seriously not a lot of girls can rollerblade these days. so i was thinking not bad not bad this job shuld b quite well paid.
then better still. 8 FRIGGIN HOURS. the working hours were 8 FRIGGIN HOURS. it wouldnt be so bad if it was just a normal flyers job BUT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. you have to be at least 5'5 and you must do this whole mumbo jumbo thing in ROLLERBLADES IN LOW YAT. where it's so friggin crowded on weekends and yet you have to go around rollerblading and handing out flyers for 8 FRIGGIN HOURS. okay. so maybe you have 2 breaks. each abt 45 minutes to 1 hour max. STILL. you would have 6 HOURS LEFT TO BE IN ROLLERBLADES CARRYING A STACK OF HEAVY FLYERS and passing it to people who are most likely just going to throw them in the nearest bin.
so surely the pay has to be good right. BUT FUCK HELL. 150 bucks. like wtf wei. the pay is getting lower and lower and the agents are eating are moooreee than half the pay. where is the justice in all this. 150 may seem a lot to some of you but trust me the whole hand out flyers job isnt as easy at it looks. especially in hells and what more rollerblades? even 2-3 hours in heels just standing and giving out flyers is painful.
most of you are probably going aiyah. u go shopping wear heels few hours. yeah. you're right but the fact is you're moving around and the weight isnt pressured too much on your feet and ou're actually doing something you like instead of carrying hell heavy pieces of papers that killed one too many trees that are just going to end up in the dumpster.
maybe a year back or 2 years back a job like this would pay abt 3-400 bucks. NO JOKE. last year i handed out flyers and i got to walk up and down without having to stay in play AND IN SPORT SHOES. and i got paid 180. so you tell me. how bad everything is getting. i really can't help but wonder why do some girls who i SWEAR ARE SOOOOO good looking they can seriously be models actually accept such low paying jobs. during certain circumstances that 150 pay would be acceptable but not when there's a friggin height requirement and a friggin rollerblade requirement where you have to work more than 5 friggin hours.
that's probabaly why im so broke now cuz i've been really picky with my jobs lately but seriously. if less girls actually accepted these low paying jobs the pay would definitely slowly but surely improve. sigh. why oh why. and even more teruk. now adays a lot of 10am-10pm jobs where the pay is only abt 70-80 bucks "=_= seriously wei. dont la.
aiyoh. i was really pissed off and wanted to like blog about this whole issue properly but the heat in my room is killing me. pfft.

i miss my naturally somewhat curly hair (i went and straightened it last week) ARGH ARGH ARGH. so it looks shit sometimes but at certain times it looks really nice T_T *whimpers* WHY LA LIKE THIS. OMG. i shuld have jsut went and got a straightening iron so i can straighten it only on days i have a bad hairday!!!

sigh. astro's travel and living channel will be the death of me.right now im craving dim sum and crab T_T. anybody wanna takkkeee meeeeeeee?
upon our arrival i looked up at the sky again and this time the clouds surrounding the moon were seperating not by the middle or to the left and right but in both directions. some clouds were going left and some clouds were going right and ONLY at the moon. the clounds below and above were totally still. and we continued to observed and those few clouds started turning pink and around the sky turned a slight shade of pink and red. then the moon got brighter.
then we went in for a while and i came back out and looked up AGAIN and this time there were animal shaped clouds literally moving past the moon in 1 straight line. and there was like a huge collisium in the sky. the clouds parted that way
later on around 4. we went out to play the guitar and look at the sky and the moon WAS HUGE and kept changing colours from shades of light yellow to reddish orange and at the same time it was moving downwards really really fast *O*
if anyone knows what day this is or signifies do drop me a message. just kinda curious.

THANK GAWD IT WAS NOTHING LIKE I EXPECTED. in fact. piercing your ears is probabaly more painful. heck. even getting a facial hurts more. okay well. at least until they spray alcohol on it "=_= but not everywhere does that as the pain is apparently so extreme that they rather go for a more troublesome method of wrapping cling foil over it.

the poor dog has been rejected by aaron's parents and we spent the whole of yesterday transfering him from house to house.fred the 13 yr old basset hound(hush puppy) needs a home urgently. I SWEAR HE IS SOOOOOOOOO loving and he's really easy to handle as long as you dont bring him into a restaurant "=_= he gets really excited at food.
if nobody is going to adopt him soon we will have no choice but to put him to sleep and i think this is really unfair for him because he is still really active for his age and he is in perfect health.
please pass this around and if anybody is interested leave a comment or a message in my chatterbox. urgent. really really urgent. imagine being left after 13 yrs and left in the vet for a week den taken out and transfered everywhere only to be put to sleep. please help give this dog a chance.
he really is one dog that deserves it. he gets along with other dogs and he doesnt run around destroying things. if it's of any importance. he also doesnt pee with his leg up so no worries abt the car tyres and walls ;p

in conjuction with the previous post of 3 dead animals and a few unidentified ones. i saw another one yesterday in the morning which aaron therefore concluded was a SIGN because once again only i kept seeing them "=_=and coincidently g man messaged me about a 13 yr old male basset hound (hush puppy dog) that was going to be put to sleep if nobody wanted him. and i couldnt resist myself. T_T i mean the fella was old yea. but he was healthy and active. at least from what i heard. so i dragged the crew with me (baby. emz. aaron) and i swear he is the cutest most obedient dog i have ever met. okay lar. got more obedient ones but this one actually listens to me and follows me when i walk in shopping malls(the curve) instead of running off somewhere else like my dogs would probabaly do "=_=
the lazy bum is currently residing in aaron's hse because my parents would probably skin me alive for bringing home another dog but im actually plotting how to keep him *O* aaron lives just a 2-3 minute drive away and i miss the doggie already T_T his name is fred by the way. like you know the fox and the hound. the cartoon where this basset hound and a baby fox become friends but get seperated and the hound is instructed to hunt the fox but he can't. IF U HAVENT WATCHED IT GO WATCH OKAY! ITS LIKE ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAV CARTOONS!!
on another note. ive been up since 5 playing death jr 2 on the psp. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. it has amazing graphics and the coolest gameplay. u can even co-op with a friend and play in story mode!! cool shit.
you know. i was actually thinking of increasing my bandwidth and disk space to upload my fav games and mp3's for ppl to download but im still deciding. hm.
and screw wei. i heard petrol prices are going to be raised 87 cents on the 14th of jan T_T inside sources anyway. not sure if it's 100% accurate but it's most likely. sigh. WHYYYYYYY. as if im not broke enough. not that i have a car but that's not the point. now air tickets will be more expensive too T_T
okay. i havent been awake so early in a long time. its 9.30 now. maybe that's why my post is so random.
pfft. my mum came in a while ago demanding that i have to go to the temple today because apparently my luck is shit bad this year. *hailat.spm results confirm fucked up* and apparently im now allowed to go swimming or go into dark alleys. wtf. im not even allowed to be at the beach. wtf. and i was planning on going to bali again this feb. >=@ rarw.!! beach and dark alleys galore. HUHUHUH.

looking through the glass as the bright lights in my mind slowly pass. the silent empty streets stare back at me as if willing me to understand it's story.red liquid dense and thick. unnoticed by the others somehow only seen by me. dumped by the side. unmoving. cold. lifeless and dead. the sight of it sickened me as if suddenly the smell of rotting flesh and raw blood seeped into the car.and yet once again. noticed by no one but me.
this was the first. as if triggered a switch.the image remained while my thoughts continued to cloud up. would i ever feel such compassion for people the way i do towards animals and a sneer crept up my face.
i imagined myself standing by the side of the road staring down at a strangers disfigured body as his fresh warm blood trickles from a little trinkle yet so much it creates a puddle that stains the ground with each tiny movement. and i think to myself. i would probably stare in scorn instead of pity as the thoughts of human sins envelope my mind.
treachery.betrayals.neglect.sins so easily commited by those that are considered above the rest. those gifted with the abilty to think and decide. humans. yet only humans commit such crimes.
and i continued to stare out of the window and one by one the sight of dead animals continued to reach my eyes. and again only mine. unnoticed by the others who were with me this night.
3 clearly seen and identified. 2 dogs and a cat. and more if i had looked closer. but their shaped so badly disfigured and the streets to dark to tell. 3 was all i could identify. the others a blur of painful sights. nausea took over me and i closed my eyes and told myself everything's all right.

i have discovered a rather disturbing habit of mine causing the inflation of my body mass and roundness. *O*i tend to eat and eat until im really full and about to puke but even at that extent i still continue stuffing and stuffing and look for other food until i reallllyy need to puke but hold it in anyway.
